Tomato Bounty Post

As promised yesterday, here's a shot of the eight tomatoes from the teensy garden! They were photographed on the back porch just before half were put into the paper bag to share with the neighbors who kindly take my garbage cans out and in each week.




Really hard to believe it's March!

Thanks! I'm still amazed at how ripe and red they look. Other than cropping, didn't "doctor" the shots in any photo manipulation program. They were just that tomato-y looking! Tasted better than the "vine-ripened" ones in the store too!
My neighbors are so kind, they really deserve the goodies!

What's freakish is that this is last year's plant. It never died back and now the branches are self-rooting in the surrounding soil! So I'll have more "new" plants for this year, without doing a thing. Crazy!
