Tomatoes

Fall seems to finally have arrived and I still have a very prolific bunch of volunteer tomato plants!  The fruit is a little slower to ripen but eventually does and it’s wonderful.  The basil plant has long since given up the ghost but the tomatoes march on!  I buy Trader Joe’s Genovese Pesto and dab that on the sliced fruit in lieu of basil leaves.  Mmmm!
